By using the Truck Load mobile application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this policy.

  • Processing: Any operation or activity concerning personal information, including collection, storage, use, updating, sharing, and deletion.

  • Responsible Party: Truck Load — the entity that determines the purpose and means of processing personal information.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (POPIA Section 11)

Truck Load processes personal information based on:

  • Contractual Necessity: For logistics and payment services.

  • Legal Obligation: Compliance with laws such as recordkeeping.

  • Legitimate Interest: Improving service delivery, ensuring safety, and preventing misuse.

  • Identity Data: Name, ID number, profile photo (if applicable)

  • Contact Data: Phone, email, delivery address

  • Payment Data: Bank info, wallet transactions

  • Location Data: Real-time GPS tracking (if enabled)

  • Usage Data: App stats, IP, device type, OS

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Booking logistics and connecting users with truck owners

  • Identity verification and payment processing via Ozow

  • Customer support and dispute resolution

  • Fraud detection and prevention

  • Legal and regulatory compliance

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

Truck Load does not sell personal information. Data may be shared:

  • With transporters or clients for job coordination

  • With payment processors (e.g., Ozow)

  • With regulators/law enforcement if required

  • With IT providers for app maintenance
    All third parties must comply with strict confidentiality and POPIA obligations.

6. Data Protection & Security
